It's a process
Dye-sublimation printing is a digital printing technology using full color artwork that works with polyester and polymer-coated substrates. Also referred to as digital sublimation, the process is commonly used for decorating apparel, signs and banners, as well as novelty items such as cell phone covers, plaques, coffee mugs, and other items with sublimation-friendly surfaces. The process uses the science of sublimation, in which heat and pressure are applied to a solid, turning it into a gas through an endothermic reaction without passing through the liquid phase.
It's not, we made the process simple, like printing a document with one additional step!
Design - Print - Press
Simply drag in the photo, add some text and you are done.
Our software is easy to use and you are free to use any other software you are comfortable with.
Print out your design using the supplied Ink and paper on the Sublimation-Enabled Printer.
This is where the magic starts
Place your printout, with the poly-coated item in your pre-heated heat press and close it up. When the beeper sounds your item has been printed and the process is complete
- The ink is not a complete liquid, the ink is made up of tiny dye particles that is suspended in a liquid.
- The dye particles only adheres to synthetic surfaces like polyester, polymer or poly-rich surfaces.
